• Torrent- a specialized control file

  

  Torrent is a specialized  control file that assists torrent software in downloading a much larger file.  It is suited for a P2P environment and the downloading takes place by allowing  large number of users to download the same file simultaneously. Despite the  greater number of people downloading the same file, the downloading process  does not retard. This is because the users do not depend on a single server  like the traditional downloading methods and exchange data amongst each other  instead of waiting for the server to respond. The sharing and exchange of the  data makes the system so successful and because of the efficient downloading a  lot of publishers are promoting their content through the torrent links and  torrent files. Apart from the torrent files, torrent links, torrent softwares  and torrent websites there is other terminology related to this process such as  seeding, leeches and peers. These terms are used during the downloading  process.

  

  Gone are those days when you had to worry about downloading free content  from the Internet. Now you can not only download free content but also share  your favourite torrent music, torrent movie or torrent game via the torrent  links. Its simple, easy and 100 percent free!
